Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel, West Des Moines

My stay at the hotel was overall fantastic! The rooms were excellent - very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was super friendly and made me feel very welcome. However, I did have a small issue with a leaking fridge when I checked in, but they quickly resolved it. The complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, though the charge for it was unexpected.

Although the hotel had some drawbacks, I found the overall experience quite satisfactory. The rooms were a bit dated and not as clean as expected for the price, with noticeable odors and the lack of basic amenities like a microwave and fridge. On the bright side, the location was excellent and easy to find off I-235, perfect for those traveling for business or leisure. Unfortunately, the service was subpar, as I encountered disagreements with staff over reservations and felt annoyed during interactions. The dining options were overpriced, but we did enjoy the included homemade ice cream. Despite these issues, the facilities were decent and functional.
